WSN Construction led construction effort to develop Primary Fuel Storage Facility at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

Trade scope consisted of mechanical, electrical, piping, equipment installations, instrumentation, boilermaker, ironwork & civil trades.

Contract included supply and install of four (4) 10.7 Million Litres (2.35 Million Imperial Gallons). The project construction includes: containment dyke complete with concrete walls and subgrade impermeable liner, four (4) ten point seven (10.7) million litre API 650 jet fuel storage tanks (90ft dia. x 60ft high), five (5) buildings (Operations, Foam System, Equipment Storage, Vista, Arjay Unit), spill containment system (dual underground oil/water separator tanks), fire suppression system, apron hydrant pumping system, concrete containment pads, roadways, complete electrical.

WSN Construction was also responsible for fabrication of 10,000 diameter inches of pipe assemblies with sizes ranging from 6” to 24” in Carbon Steel and 316 Stainless Steel.
